Created as a site specific installation for the Four Seasons Chicago, this mica and brass piece recalls dappled light through tree bowers. This piece was designed in relation to the neutral and gilded palette of the reception area, meant to draw your eye to it’s undulating shape while adding to the

existing atmosphere of luxurious tranquility. Each piece of mica and brass were hand cut by the artist and affixed directly to the wall with brass finishing nails. The pieces “float” off the wall at varying depths, catching the light and adding to the sense of movement.
