These sculptural pieces were conceptualized for MB Steakhouse in Las Vegas, based on the tradition joyous celebration at the summer solstice. Lush and erotic, these sculptures draw inspiration from kupala traditions such as releasing flower wreaths into rivers, dancing around bonfires, night time searches for the elusive fern flower, and purification through natural waters. These scenes speak of our deep connection to nature and the rituals that remind us to take joy in this connection. Each sculpture is approximately 12” x 15”, and is comprised of hand sculpted clay, flowers, foliage, resin, and LED lights set into a brass base and nestled under a glass cloche. Featured at One Steakhouse within the Virgin Hotel in Las Vegas.
